Here is Scout pictured with Taylor during a fun fall training session. Scout tries very hard to please his people and has found his forever home through Corner of Kindness Rescue.
PINKY, French Bulldog Mix
Pinky is a little bundle of energy, but she did great while learning her basics (sit, down, come, working on stay, watch me, and touch) along with roll, and shake. Pinky found her forever home through Corner of Kindness Rescue.
Proud Sunny and his Trick Titles
Congratulations to my dog, Sunny, who earned his Novice and Intermediate Trick Dog Titles throughDo More With Your Dog. Sunny has been working very hard on his tricks and it has paid off. :-) Next is the Advanced Title! Working on tricks is a great way to develop a strong bond with your dog while mentally & physically challenging your four legged friend. Trick training also helps us to work on our communication skills in a fun and rewarding exercise with our dog.
Carly the Australian Cattle Dog Mix
Harley (now Carly), 1 yr old Australian Cattle Dog mix from Australian Cattle Dog Rescue MN , is now part of my family. She's a really good girl, and she is gaining confidence in herself every day with the help of Sunny, my dog, along with some training and socialization.
Fidget and Brooke
Here is Fidget, a 1yr old cattle dog mix, working on “leave it” with her Corner of Kindness foster mom, Brooke. Fidget picked up several tricks very quickly but she needed some socialization work. She was very reactive to other dogs when on leash, but has really improved her social skills after just three sessions. Walks are much more fun for her now!
Victory found his forever home and is very happy in his new surroundings. He is a calm, peaceful boy that loves to go on walks and check out new places.Corner of Kindness Rescue helped Victory through a tough time in his life, sickness & injury, and now he is in his new home.Way to go Victory.
KYA, Shepard Mix
Kya is a gentle Shepard mix that came to Corner of Kindness Rescue with tick borne disease and heartworm. Kya went through treatments and gained her strength back as well as her desire to start a new life. She is now into her next stage of life thanks to her new forever mom. You deserve it Kya, good luck girl!
KIVA, Australian Cattle Dog
Kiva, the deaf cattle dog from Australian Cattle Dog Rescue MN, would have quite a story to tell if she could talk…Kiva was in the rescue system for some time due to her high energy and drive levels, but she is such a sweetie that no one gave up on her and now she is in her forever home! Her new family understands her desire to work and they train obedience and tricks with her often.Good for Kiva!!
It's tricky training a small-stature dog, you have to find out what they like. Louie will sit, down, up on two and agility was fun for him too - jumping through hoops and weaving between the legs. After being in the foster system for over a year, he finally found his forever home via Corner of Kindness Animal Rescue.
MONTE, Black Lab Mix
The kindest gentleman you’ll ever meet. Monte is very calm and patient, gets along well with cats, and just likes hanging out with people. He will make his “forever mom” (found via Corner of Kindness Animal Rescue) very happy!
PRIMA, Chocolate Lab
Quite the goofball, but smart, so cute and lovable! I knew she would be adopted quickly. Yes, Labs are known for being “distractible,” but not when you have a treat available! She did great in training sessions, and will be very happy in her new home, a hobby farm found via Corner of Kindness Rescue.
RUBY, Great Dane
With a working class dog, repetition is very important. Just simple things, often, and then mix it up a little. Ruby, the gentle giant, was adopted through Corner of Kindness Animal Rescue and is now living on a hobby farm with her Great Dane sister, Violet.
SNICKERS, Golden Retriever Mix
What a sweet boy! He did great on walks and did everything I asked of him (with a little practice), and was learning to “sit pretty” when he was adopted via Corner of Kindness Animal Rescue. Good for him!
Max is a very special boy, really shy but has so much potential to be a loving companion to his new family! I’m excited that he now has a forever home and confident that he’ll come out of his shell and blossom to the funloving guy that he really is. Max was adopted through Corner of Kindness Animal Rescue.
LUNA, Austrailian Cattle Dog
I had the pleasure of working two full days with Luna (doggie training boot camps) and she did a great job! Luna found her FOREVER HOME via Australian Cattle Dog Rescue Minnesota. She will enjoy jogging, obedience, agility, having some feline friends and best of all, a person who loves her. Susan has a lot of experience working with deaf dogs and wanted to adopt another one after her last dog passed from cancer. Thank you Susan!
MOLLY, Deaf Spaniel Mix (pictured with Kyle)
Molly is a total sweetheart and really likes human interaction, so we used that (affection) and games of tug as reward for her while training (she was not interested in treats). Molly found her forever home through Corner of Kindness Rescue.
